Inside Yoga | Inside Flow
Hie Kim trains yoga teachers, gives yoga workshops and hosts retreats. He is one of the senior teachers and instructors of the legendary Inside Yoga Studio in Frankfurt. Every year he teaches hundreds of yoga teachers and is well known on the big yoga stages of the German speaking and Asian yoga area. He can also be seen in the yoga magazine of the Austrian radio station Runkfunk, as a presenter at top events in Robinson’s clubs and as a teacher of numerous video series on the premium online yoga platform tintyoga.com. His yoga classes are very much based on the students who find themselves in his yoga room. He passes on this reactive teaching style to other teachers in his continuing education course “Echo Sequencing.” With his didactic ability and his empathetic, humorous character, he manages to pick up his yoga students physically, mentally and emotionally and to inspire them with well thought-out lessons. Especially popular are his self-written poems in Shavasana.

Inside Yoga | Inside Flow
Anna is a yoga teacher and Inside Flow Senior Teacher from Frankfurt. She has been training yoga teachers in German-speaking countries as part of the Inside Yoga instructor team since 2022. Her yoga classes come straight from the heart – she gently guides you through dynamic flows that allow you to sensitively feel into your body, tune your heart rate to the beat of the music and bring together body awareness, thoughts and emotions. Her intention is to help you deepen the connection to your body and fill your everyday life with joy and lightness.

Nell Leiss
Urban Yoga Hamburg
Nell is a passionate yoga teacher from Hamburg. She has been teaching yoga since the age of 21 and will open Urban Yoga Altona in April 2024 together with her mentor and instructor Marion Schwarzat.
In 2017 she completed her 200h yoga teacher training in Sydney at BodyMindLife (teachers: Nielle Connolly, Kat Clayton, Recheal Coops & Sarah Routhier) and in 2021 she completed her 300h training at Urban Yoga (teachers Marion Schwarzat, Andrea Morhbutter, Hie Kim, Mark Stephens & Christiane Wolff). She has been an RYT® 500 yoga teacher since 2023. Nell teaches regularly as a senior teacher at Urban Yoga City and is the training coordinator for the 200 & 300 training.
Her yoga classes are a combination of Vinyasa Flow and a healthy individual alignment. Everyone should feel comfortable and seen in her yoga classes. She always gives her students the space to experience and feel a formlessness in the asana. She loves to incorporate aids and partner exercises into her classes and believes that the joy of movement and being should always be at the forefront. Nell teaches Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and especially Restorative Yoga.
Besides teaching yoga, Nell loves to cook. She is particularly enthusiastic about the recipes of Yotam Ottolenghi and Ixta Belfrage. She loves to spend hours in the kitchen cooking for friends. She has a degree in ecotrophology and will be offering nutritional advice in the new studio from April 2024. For Nell, a healthy diet is very individual. In her consultations, she works with her clients to develop individual approaches on how a healthy diet can fit into everyday life and be lived – without dieting or sacrificing pleasure.

This workshop is dedicated entirely to the power of lateral support and creates the space to try out new asanas together with another person. You will practise a combination of a powerful and strengthening Vinyasa Flow class with elements of partner exercises.
The focus of this workshop is to explore the shared practice of yoga in between experiencing the connection, trust and joy of something new. Through the combination of classical yoga asanas, which can be rediscovered with partner exercises, we will create an atmosphere of connection, communication and mindfulness. Regardless of whether the person is a stranger or familiar to you, yoga connects and always creates space for new experiences.

Karo Wiebel
Kaifu Lodge
Karo has been teaching Vinyasa Flow since 2005 and has also been passionate about Yin Yoga since 2010. After two Vinyasa trainings (Lance Schuler INSPYA YOGA and Safs&Beta) she studied Yin Yoga and Yoga Anatomy with Paul Grilley. To this day, she considers his pioneering work and intelligent anatomy teaching to be very influential.
At Karo, warmth and empathy meet specialist knowledge and clear structures. In her theme-oriented Vinyasa Flow classes, she has a unique way of integrating yoga philosophical themes into the physical asana practice and thus touching her yoga students on all levels.
Her motto “come as you are” reminds us that we are welcome exactly as we are and that yoga accompanies us on the path to our true self.
Karo studied Applied Cultural Studies and loves everything that is interdisciplinary, undogmatic and creative. She is also a licensed Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner, a licensed pelvic floor trainer and a licensed business coach and trainer / process facilitator.

Tribe Yoga Base
A life without yoga? For Laura, the founder of TRIBE Yoga Base, this is now unimaginable! Her yoga journey began with a fascinating power yoga class at a Hamburg yoga festival in 2015 and eventually led her to the yoga studio, where she has been pursuing her great passion ever since as a student and, since 2017, as a vinyasa flow teacher: modern, slightly dance-inspired yoga classes that give you the opportunity to continue on an exciting journey to yourself. For a long time, however, Laura lacked a place where like-minded people could meet and chat in a comfortable atmosphere after yoga practice. So the health scientist and yoga teacher, who has always had a love of gastronomy, followed her heart and the concept for the TRIBE Yoga Base was born.
Since May 2019, her yoga café in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel has been offering homemade vegan drinks and snacks in addition to a wide range of yoga classes. TRIBE Yoga Base opened its second yoga studio in Hamburg Ottensen in July 2021. For Laura, yoga is a source of clarity, serenity and connectedness as well as new energy that helps us to stay in balance or find our way back to balance. She is looking forward to discovering and sharing this benefit for body and soul with you.

So. | 15:50 – 17:20 – Rest in movement – Yin Yoga Flow Yin Yoga Flow is the combination of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, a balancing combination of active and passive practice. We start with a powerful flow with a focus on standing postures, which transitions into a more relaxed yet intense Yin sequence. Here in the second part, deeper muscles and tissue (fascia) are addressed and passively stretched by holding asanas for a long time.
Marion Schwarzat
Urban Yoga Hamburg
Marion’s great passion, more than work, is yoga and meditation and she knows how privileged and lucky she is to be able to do something that fulfills her completely. Her innermost desire is to support people in (re)finding their own center, to recognize their own strengths, but also to accept their weaknesses, to be at peace with themselves and the world. Yoga makes us happy in all its many areas because it makes us more agile and flexible (physically and mentally) and at the same time manages to calm our eternally restless, planning, demanding and judgmental “monkeymind”.
Marion experiences the pure joy of being as a great quality in yoga and not only wants to live this, but also make it tangible in her classes!
For over 15 years, she has been immersing herself more and more in the diversity of yoga, practicing and learning a wide variety of yoga styles and immersing herself more and more in mindfulness-based meditation. Barbara Peisl, an enthusiastic surfer and dedicated photographer, works as a yoga and Inside Flow junior teacher. Through her classes and retreats, she shares the pure joy and passion she finds in movement and wants to help others develop a holistic and sustainable practice.
At the heart of her sessions, Barbara invites you to join her amidst the serene mountains or by the tranquil sea, creating an enriching environment for your well-being. In the winter months, she calls Andalusia in the south of Spain her home, where she lives and teaches. With the changing of the seasons and the arrival of summer, you will find her in the picturesque landscapes of Bavaria, sharing her love of yoga and movement with those who are happy to join her on this transformative journey.

Simone Raich
Mostly found on her hands or in various squat variations on the floor, Simone lives exactly what she passes on to her students and teachers in workshops and further training courses in the DACH region: A progressive, authentic and free yoga practice that doesn’t end when you leave your mat.
Grounded in yoga therapy, Simone provides you with functional tools for your yoga and handstand practice. Coupled with her humorous, honest yet compassionate nature, her aim is to guide you to where you want to be as safely, sensibly and effectively as possible. It doesn’t matter whether this ends in a handstand or is simply a feeling of more self-determination in your practice.
Her goal is to give your body aha moments and create a space where you can move out of your comfort zone in a safe and planned way, and then draw the self-imposed box we all know a little bigger.

In this workshop you will learn the correct technique, alignment and get a concrete idea of what and, above all, how to approach your personal handstand journey in order to see success and balance safely.
Handstands are more than “I’ll just jump up and see what happens”,
That’s why you’ll learn the handstand basics here, from preparing your handstand on the wall and during your yoga flows to free balancing and mental tips to better deal with the anxiety of the upside-down world.
We start with drills for coordination, mobility and control and work our way from the wall to free standing – and, depending on the level, to the first shapes (straddle, tuck, side bends and backbends).
By the end of the workshop, you will have a solid idea of what you need to work on and how to integrate handstands into your practice and life so that you can continue practicing on your own.

What does mobility mean? What is the difference to flexibility and how do you work on active ROM (Range of Motion) and implement it into our existing practice?
Active Range of Motion means having more room to move that we can actually actively use for ourselves and the ability to move our body through space, yoga poses and life in a controlled and safe way.
You will learn about the importance of our nervous system when we ‘stretch’, active, isometric and passive approaches, how they work, when they make the most sense, and how small changes can alter an entire position and make your practice more functional.
After we have laid the foundation and discussed a few positions in more detail, we will go into a mobility-focused practice in which you can feel the different approaches of mobility training on your own body and integrated into your practice.

The Kaifu Lodge is the fitness studio in the heart of Hamburg Eimsbüttel, between Eppendorf and Sternschanze. With over 284 courses per week, 7 course studios with over 50 different course contents, 7000 square meters of fitness space, squash, sauna & the possibility to swim, the Kaifu Lodge is the fitness studio in Hamburg with the largest offer. The yoga course program of the yunion Yoga Days will take place in the spacious, light-flooded course rooms on the first weekend in October.
