Adell Bridges is an international yoga and handstands teacher, health coach, and author who grew up in Mississippi, moved to the UK, and after a few years of wandering aimlessly through life, found yoga. She has taught yoga in 25 countries around the world, and continues her training in various areas of mindfulness and movement. Adell is a self-proclaimed geek, and applies her degree in psychology with her training in functional neurology to her yoga and movement teachings. She now lives in the UK, and shares her love for the power of mindful movement to her online community on www.MoveWithAdell.com

Adell's 8 limbs of handstand includes 8 of Adell's favourite drills -- favourites because they cover everything you need to handstand confidently, fall confidently, and learn to hold your handstand longer and longer. These drills create the perfect baseline to grow your handstand practice from, whether you're just starting out or you're already handstanding confidently! We'll go through each drill, why it's SO FREAKING AWESOME, and how to build it into your yoga practice so you get these drills DONE and they don't sit on your to do list unfinished day after day.

Wall-a-holics Anonymous

So, you dream of being able to handstand in the middle of the room, but you just can't get over that dependence on the wall. You may be a wall-a-holic.  In this group meeting, we will admit we are wall-a-holics, and commit to abstinence from the wall, by teaching our brains that we are safe without the wall! This workshop will be so much fun and you'll feel like a kid again!

Introduction to Nerve Flossing

Your nerves have to stretch and move just like your muscles and fascia.  Understanding some basics around how to mobilise these structures can not only relieve pain, increase mobility, and even create more strength in lightning speed, but it can be fun and easy to bring into a typical yoga practice or gym cool-down routine! In this workshop we will look at some major nerve pathways and how to mobilise them in ways that will blow your mind!

the yunion Teacher training - Creative Neuro Sequencing

Our asana practice can be so much more than the disciplined practice of showing up to do the same old things. In fact, research shows that novelty is beneficial in so many ways — not least because it reminds you that your body is your guru! Even if you don’t think of yourself as a creative type, in this workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of finding new ways to move that feel empowering in your body! This workshop will include a mixture of movement and lecture and give you plenty to take home with you and into your practice.

Unblock Your Nervous System

Think of a busy city at rush hour: cars sitting in traffic jams, not moving or only slowly crawling forward. There's nothing wrong with the road itself, or the cars, yet nobody's moving because the roads are blocked. This is what your nervous system experiences when it's overloaded with stress -- there's nothing wrong with you or your body, it's just blocked. In this workshop we'll learn techniques that directly target areas of the brain that clear away the "flight or flight" traffic and allow you to feel like you can move and flow with ease and energy again.
